This is not a Cream Pie

In short, I literally grew up around food! For the first twenty something years of my life, my dad owned his own fresh juice, ice cream and pastry shop! And boy what a fun and tasty place it was!

A self-taught pastry chef, and restaurateur, with a lot of business acumen and creativity, my dad created yummy foods and mainly focused on A LOT OF DESSERTS and pastries, mainly French and Middle Eastern.

I remember how fascinated I always was with the way he deliciously covered his pies aka Tartes in French, with this beautiful iceberg-looking peak of freshly handmade whipped cream à la Française!

In a MAGRITTE kinda way, this is not a cream pie, it is a representation of so much more!
