Revamping A brand identity

I was assigned to recreate the branding and identity for Ronex, an in-house production company specialized in interior fit-outs, builds, and production. The brief was to help them stay relevant by transforming their brand identity with a modern and contemporary edge that looks and feels on trend.




Taking a deeper look into client needs and goals

After doing some user research to understand the client needs and goals and the reason for the revamp, and while taking into consideration what they do and their direct and indirect competitors, I discovered that this brand needs to stand out in a very saturated market, and the best way to do so was to bring the brand to life by creating a a modern yet functional approach, a simple, clean and modern design aesthetic that can help Ronex stay relevant and up-to-date.


Setting the tone

After my user research I came back to the drawing board and as part of my design process I created vision boards inspired by the latest trends in fit-outs, spacial design and construction, then used it as a blueprint to guide our modern, geometric, and clean approach to revamping the identity. The approach was rapid and experimental.


Revamping the identity & Exploring modern logo options

Using a vision board and with careful type selection, I created options with different typographic approaches that were simple and modern and using several color accents that are trending in an up-to-date and innovative construction industry, and that conveyed the mission of the company, being able to build anything from scratch using latest techniques. The goal of the this design approach is to help them appear more relevant in a competitive industry and get more leads.

After exploring and creating options, I presented to our stakeholder and client and got the green light to proceed with a final logo option. The following step was creating business cards and letter heads as one of the main needs of the company to help them network and gain new business leads.
