PAris Avenue by LANCÔME

 

I was the lead art director on the Paris Avenue bus road show activation by LANCÔME. Inspired by the brand and its Parisian roots, we created a theme called Paris Avenue, that reflects on Paris as a world of beauty, glamour and elegance.

I created a vibrant and unique key visual that represents the brand and also reflects on Paris as a main hub for beauty and fashion. My main inspiration was our brand in addition to Paris and its art, architecture and streets. I created a fresh branding identity, logo lockup and illustrations.

LANCÔME is a brand that advocates for women to embrace their own effortless beauty, and wants women to feel good on the inside and on the outside. We stayed true to these ideas and positioned our brand in a similar way using the tag line ‘Shine Your Way’!

THe JOUrNEY


 

As the lead art director, and in addition to creating the branding and the visual communication, I also was responsible to create the activation ideas based on a specific set of deliverables, as well as design the consumer journey, and the interior and exterior of the activation bus. I created a master plan that the 3D designer will use as their blueprint. I was also responsible to select our elements, materials, color palette, finishings, and product displays in a way that showcases the LANCÔME as a top beauty brand and brings the whole theme and experience to life.

I was responsible to create every branding touchpoint in this activation, including the main key visuals and all the branding in all the areas as well as the space and the interior design, the consumer journey, visual merchandising, signage, brand posters, and all the products displayed. My role included providing our 3D designers with assets and resources such as images signages and all the branding, which I designed based on standard and real sizes. In addition to overseeing the 3D Sketchup and Lumion rendering process, shots, and image quality.

I followed LANCÔME brand and merchandising guidelines and added my unique touch through my illustrations that were reminiscent of the brand and its visual communication style.

The journey consisted of a makeup station, a beauty lounge, fragrance display and trial, spa, and a live photoshoot area.
